Introductory Handgun

      Introductory Handgun is a five (5) hour course designed to teach the knowledge, skills, and attitude necessary for owning and using a specific model pistol safely.
     
      This course satisfies the training requirement for obtaining a Virginia Concealed Handgun Permit. Participants successfully completing the course will receive a certificate.
     
      We will provide the concealed handgun permit application forms (VSP form 248), provide instruction and assistance for completing them, and have a Notary Public on site, for most courses, to notarize your completed application.
     
      Please contact us for additional information and course registration. Register for this course to guarantee your seat (early registration is recommended). Walk-ins will be accepted as long as seats are available. The cost of this course is $75.

Requirements

A handgun - Loaners are available
At least 50 rounds of quality ammunition
Ear and eye protection
A baseball style hat or hat with a brim
